First Time 5K

Good afternoon beautiful bloggers!!!! It has been a while since the last post and I truly apologize for the delay, but as always if you’d like more K.I.T. intel you should either follow me on Instagram and subscribe to my YouTube channel as always just use the hashtag #amilikey

I just want to briefly update you as to my whereabouts. I have come to realize this blog has become more of an online journal and reflection; however, the reflections and journaling come with inspirational stories and juicy fun stories so heeeeeyyy Lol.

My career choice has been on delay and I am still seeking employment in the medical field, but I can’t do more than I am doing to obtain one – fingers triple crossed. So, in the meantime I have been obligated to do day labor and let me tell you I’ve been to 4 different offices already and it’s just always the same toxic environment for my spiritual growth. I am thankful though that it puts food on table for my family and at least supplies the basic necessities.

I was able to participate in the Tampa Bay annual Breast Cancer Awareness walk, it took place near Raymond James Stadium, and it was one unique experience I will never forget – looking forward to many more walks/runs.

The environment was surrounded in pink spectrum and there were families honoring their past loved ones which was very touching and heartbreaking too. I lost my grandma to stomach cancer and my uncle, so in a way I too did it in memory of a loved one. I pray all those battling cancer in one way or another receive not only the medical treatment necessary, but also the mental health support from family and friends.

I love being an advocate, I rejoice to be able to contribute to cancer awareness and funds, but above all my community engagement – I seek to bring people to God, because I know from my own life without Him there is No fulfilment in life or purpose.

Well, I’ve said enough and I thank and appreciate everyone who reads these humble posts. Hope to be autographing my published books in the near future to be able to interact on a one to one ratio with my lovely audience.

Love,
Ana J

Immigration Outlook

“Green go, Green go- is where the word Gringo derives and it has to do with the Americans invading Mexico wearing green uniforms, so the Mexicans would tell them that. I have had the privilege of coming to the States via Visa and I was able to obtain my citizenship with time and paperwork. This concept of immigration holds dear to my heart and I want to have a bigger voice in this arena as an advocate for all the immigrants legal and illegal, or better yet said undocumented.

I never knew that there was a Puerto Rican culture until I was eleven years old as a foster kid. They were a welcoming people to me and I have learned to love them dearly. I do not know why I have been so close to Puerto Ricans, but over the years I have accumulated several very significant people like my best male friend and my youth church family. Puerto Rico is a commonwealth nation and as such is a mixture of the immigration lifestyle as they migrate from the island on to the states. They have to adapt to many different new aspects of living in America like speaking English and other cultural norms of behavior.

Just recently, at my temporary work I had the privilege once more to make a connection with two Puerto Ricans one female and one male. Each one has a unique story and I enjoy spending my work days alongside them. He has a story that needs to be told and she too has something to offer the world. I hope to be able to keep in touch with them even after I move on to my next work position.  People need to understand that there is a lot of side-effects when people migrate and it takes a lot of courage to start a new life without your family and without knowing if you will be able to adapt. Everyone seeks happiness and it should be a duty to feel that same compassion for others from different cultures.

I hope to marry outside my nationality, because I believe a culture mix is a unique experience and a wonderful base for a family. I love my Hispanic ethnicity and I cherish it fully with all its pros and cons. I hope you rethink the immigration outlook and remember we are all deserving of a better future regardless of the politics.

Take care and remember Jesus loves you more than you can imagine.

Miami Adventures

It’s getting hot in here so …. Heeeey now I am talking about Miami Hot weather now Lol.

I am so humbled and honored to have been invited by Tayo Ishola to the 2019 Eido Swimwear Wonder Woman Initiative in Miami, Florida just this past weekend. I was one of four amazing woman that were selected as a honorees. I received a nice trophy and small plaque. All the images and videos can be found on my Instagram if you just type #amilikey in the search bar or go directly to my page @amilikey25

Let me begin with the inside scoops of how it all worked out, because really it is a truly nice story. My cousin from Colombia came to visit me in February and she was staying ironically with another cousin down in Hallandale beach, so my best friend really gravitated towards her and he made the effort to drive down there to spend the last Friday morning with her at the beach.

I have had an Instagram account publicly for a while now – not exactly sure how long but it has been active and I strive to utilize it to inspire and motivate people as much as I can through my day to day shenanigans and daily livings – so somehow Tayo had been following my page and saw that I was at Hallandale beach with my cousin and friends. She assumed I lived there and she invited me to be a part of the event not realizing I was a Tampa resident. My point is that had I not made that trip to visit my cousin for only a few hours I would have missed out on this wonderful opportunity to share my story with a bigger live audience in Miami.
I was able to take a air-flight for the 1st time in 18 years and yes it really had been that long, so the experience felt like riding a bike for the first time. I felt in awe and peace just gazing from 19,000 feet above the ground; viewing the buildings and grasslands (or whatever it really was Lol) was just spectacular to me. I want to travel again so much more and I feel bad for the people that let their nerves get the best of them, because baby air-flights are an amazing experience to view the world from up there and see just a glimpse of God’s beauty is truly remarkable.

So, to the funny moments I experienced:
v  I didn’t know how to exit the Miami airport like no lie I totally went the wrong way until I looked at the map provided

v  When I ordered my 1st Uber I thought I was on the 1st floor and I assumed since I saw other Uber drivers I was in the right place – thankfully the Uber was kind enough to call me and tell me I had to go down one floor to the departal section where all the taxis were lined up; it was scary because he said hurry the cops usually don’t let me stay here much longer so I was like oh my goodness hope I can make it I don’t want to order another Uber and get charged the cancellation fees

v  I was so hot (temperature wise) after the event I left my sports bra on only with my favorite leggings and got on the Uber and it was this poor young white male maybe 19 or 20 and he felt so uncomfortable with me in a sports bra I guess and he didn’t even turn his head for like not one second Lol I was laughing internally … he looked so innocent and like he didn’t want to look because he was being respectful but I mean it’s Miami and it’s just a sports bra nothing exclusive or whatever but anyways I thought that was amusing

v  I saw Don Francisco this famous Latin TV show announcer and broadcaster for like a few seconds right across the lane at the airport but you know I wasn’t gonna ask for a selfie or autograph – plus side-note he ended up having some bad drama about his show and what not so I was just like ehhh not worth the holla Lol

Well those were some of the aha moments I wanted to share with my favorite audience – my bloggers and readers. I definitely want to travel so so much more now and I hope my next trip takes me farther and it last a lot longer. I hope you enjoyed this blog post.

Make sure to checkout all the rest of the blogs because well I have shared a lot about so many things in life I am sure you can relate to some of the blogs if not all Lol.

Remember to always look at bad circumstances through a different lens and make the best of what you have in a good way; never to harm anyone in your strive for success and always remembering that kindness takes away nothing from you but gives the recipient so much and it makes a difference.

Love the one and only,

My Marriage Proposal

If you want to be my lover you gotta blah blah blah. Major Lol. You know the song from the Spicy Girls. This topic is dear to my heart because I know it will work and be 100% effective. I believe that marriage should be a mutual understanding between two people that love each other deeply. I have a full marriage proposal that is based on financial stability and mutual rules between the husband and wife. Which is also the only legitimate form of marriage = 1 man and 1 woman.

Financial Stability:

1. My money is my money and it goes into my OWN bank account
2. No joint accounts EVER
3. Your money is your money and it goes into your own bank account
4. We split the MAIN BILLS in half
5. Main Bills- a. Rent/Mortgage
B. Electricity
C. Groceries
D. Water Bill
E. Cable/Internet
6. Every other expense is your responsibility as a grown ass person
7. You pay your own insurance on car and every expense to maintain the car
8. You pay your own medical insurance and any necessary procedures like tonsils
9. Neither of us is obligated to give each other money like an “allowance” we ain’t each others     parents
10. When we decide to go out if it was a mutual idea then we split the check
11. If I want to invite my husband out then I pay for all expenses
12. If my husband decides to invite me out he pays all expenses
13. As long as we both contribute to the main bills, neither one of us can question what the other does with his or her money, so if you have no cash left after paying your fair share of half the bills then too bad that’s your problem
14. DO NOT EVER ASK EACH OTHER FOR MONEY
15. Unless you are willing to pay 10% interest on the money borrowed don’t ask then

MAIN RULES

1. We are both grown adults therefore DO NOT DARE TELL ME WHERE I CAN AND CANNOT GO because I am not your child and I DO NOT NEED YOUR PERMISSION
2. I will ALWAYS inform you where I am going and with who I am hanging out
3. When you want to take a mini vacation or a get away trip with your homeboys or family you have 3 days prior to leaving to inform me so everything that needs to be taken care is done
4. If you are not home by 9:00 PM then you are responsible for telling me where you are and if you are coming home that night via a text or phone call
5. CHEATING IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TOLERATED IN ANY FORM OR SHAPE
6. The instance that you put your penis in someone else body we are OVER no excuses
7. IF I can remain loyal and faithful to you I expect the exact same level of commitment and respect for vowing to marry me
8. You brake the law I will NOT COVER UP for you
9. I am not your mom therefore you know how to act and what is an acceptable behavior
10. I WILL ONLY COOK for you but EVERYTHING ELSE IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
11. You can DO your own laundry and pick up your shoes
12. The HOME CLEANING will be split too
a. bathrooms b. kitchen c. living room/dinning room
  d. bedrooms e. hallways and front/back outdoors area

13. CLEANING will be completed on Saturday Mornings whatever areas are left to be cleaned
14. NO PETS EVER IN MY HOME
15. When we do argue and fight verbally without insulting each other DON’T worry you are not my dog so you will NEVER have to sleep on the COUCH
16. SEX can NEVER be used as revenge or getting back at you for anything
17. When we have kids, they will receive an allowance from age 10 to 17; first it will be weekly then daily after they’re 15 and it increases according to age
18. When they misbehave they will loose privileges and chores will be doubled
19. After they’re 18 they are responsible for all their expenses
20. If they want or need money I will be willing to lend them at a 10% interest
21. If they want a car, college, luxuries then get a legal job and pay up.

I believe I have addressed the main points of a marriage. We will continue to be independent individuals who choose to love and live with each other WITHOUT needing each other to survive. Marriage will never be easy and there has to be a lot of compromise to make it work, but if you instill these guidelines above it will make marriage so much better. Money problems should be very minimal to almost non-existent. Neither the husband or wife will be overwhelmed because all the responsibilities will be shared equally. No secrets between each other unless it involves a romantic surprise like a weekend getaway trip by surprise. Remembering always that we married each other to support our dreams and to share all of life the good times and bad times. Making time and effort to keep the marriage alive through dates and exciting adventures together like climbing a cool mountain or participating in a third world country outreach. What God United let No Man/Woman separate!!!!

Thanks for reading have a great day and remember you are important & have something to contribute in this lifetime.

Ana :)

Veterans

What is patriotism without caring for those that helped give us that right to be patriotic? It just doesn’t complete the sentiment of having patriotism. If you love your country, then how can you turn your back on those who gave up their very lives to protect your country. These men and women are not just anybody: they are veterans who deserve our respect and true appreciation. Sure, some might have been obligated by their own circumstances to join the military as a means out of their needs or life-issues; nonetheless, they made the choice to go willingly or grudgingly.

As a naturalized citizen, I am more thankful to this nation than any one naturally born here in America, for I know and value everything they have given to me. I will always treasure the several months spent volunteering for the local veterans hospital I attended to as a college student. I saw first hand the physical implications that come along being a veteran and the emotional distress it leaves behind. I feel good about giving back in just a small way to them through my volunteer work. Veterans are an interesting group of people who can absolutely exemplify the meaning of comradeship.

My post for completing my volunteer work was comprised of mainly veterans from the 70s maybe 80s I suppose since they’re in their mid 50s and 60s. They allowed me see the side effects of what it means to become a veteran of various types. Whether they served the minimum of four years and retired or they spent over 20 years then retired; I feel they all are deserving of the same validation of those who also have been at war. Yes, their experiences are different and no one can argue that point, but they all served our country and that is worthy of our honor unto them all.

When the time is right, as in I am in an affluent position, I will give back to our veterans in more ways than just a check to a foundation, but create a place they can call their own base camp. A place where they can come in and receive services for no charge at all and experience things maybe they’ve never had the opportunity to take part in because of their physical limitations or emotional distress. To all the wonderful veterans out there I, Ana Gonzalez, want to personally say, Thank you!!! I acknowledge your sacrifice and appreciate all that you have done to be a part of defending this nation. Nothing anyone says or does on your behalf will ever compensate your suffering and loss (to the fallen soldiers & their families), but know that this petite naturalized citizen cares for you and you are just one more spark to igniting my desire to succeed.

I will never be president of the United States of America, because I obviously don’t meet the requirements and my ambitions are far too great to be subject to any particular limitations like the secret service. Yes, I know I am so humble. Major Lol. Now, for real I will make a difference in peoples lives no matter what struggles come my way. I am the president of my blog and social media so that’s good enough for me. Thanks for reading this blog post and remember to salute and thank a veteran when you do meet one.

Xoxoxoxoxoxoxo,

Ana :)

Flashback Friday!!!

Flashback Friday Baby!!!!
Well, let me start by saying that I freaking love, love, love and oh yeah LOVE Fridays!!!!! Why??? Because it is always the diggie it diggie BOMB. Major Lol. Seriously though on a serious note the Fridays I have lived here on planet earth have been incredible and amazing. One of the most memorable ones has been my sweet fifteen. Also, not gonna lie- this is on a side note of personal boy trouble- all the crazy shenanigans have happened on a Friday as well, what do you know.

So back to the first mention of my sweet fifteen birthday party. It was by surprise and it was on a Friday. I didn’t skip school that day as most people would have done, especially considering it was a Friday. My then middle school friends – I was still in middle school when I turned 15 unfortunately- had planned a lovely lunch party in the conference room. They ordered pizza and had a nice big cake for me and all the people there, I was so overwhelmed with joy and excitement. One of my other friends, who know is a world-wide traveler and photographer bought me the big birthday balloon I had been begging for because I wanted to feel special and important. Now, to be honest I can say the real reason behind it was founded on the desire to be like the Caucasian affluent teens; they always paraded their wealth via presents and brand-name clothing, so I wanted just for that day to feel like they felt all the time being showered with gifts and flaunting it for everyone to see. Afterwards, my beloved mami made my favorite lasagna and strawberry cake and invited at that time my best friends. My bestie was like 7 years younger than me, but we bonded like sisters and to this day I sincerely miss her so much, she stayed over the whole weekend.

Apart from that epic Friday, I have also plenty of more memorable moments that just happened to occur on you know it, now say it with me  F R I D A Y !!!!!!!! Major Lol. On the top of my big head, I can’t recollect any particular moments, because there are so many that stand out to me personally. However, just to wrap up this juice personal blog post, let me introduce you to a new character in my life. His name is profe C., well technically that’s what I nicknamed him because he is so freaking smart and plays sports. I wanted to briefly introduce him, because he deserves a little recognition for being so nice to me and always having the time to listen to my shenanigans and my “guy” troubles – not really but it sounds dramatic – while I talk non-stop. Profe C. even gets me, like when I recapitulate a story he will then be on my side and say that what I had to say makes perfect sense. Maybe he is just allured by the fact that we live in separate countries and different continents, that he keeps in touch with me in order to have a foreign friend. Nahhhhh, I am just kidding hehehhehe, we are actually from the same nationality and he doesn’t have a preference to America or is so overwhelmed by Americans, and he actually would prefer to travel to Europe instead.

Anyways I already probably said a little too much, but hey that is who I am, so too bad so sad for you. Smile face with my tongue out emoji. Lol. OhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and I almost forgot TODAY can be one of those true epic Fridays as my Golden State Warriors take down the King for good in a total Sweep of 4-0. You know it can happen if KD gets in there like a mad baller and nails another epic last second 3-pointer. Either way I guess it already will be epic, because I will enjoy the NBA Finals game and have a blast yelling and screaming at the TV alongside my beautiful family. Go DubNation !!!!!!!!!!

Recap 2018

Congratulations Bloggers we made it to 2019!!!! What an amazing feeling right? Yes, of course! Anyways, I made this super cool video on the summary outlook of my 2018, so go ahead and view yourself on YouTube.

Now, for those who would like a bit more exclusive detail and are willing to read it, then you have arrived at the right place. I will provide for you certain things I did not mention in the video as well as a small synopses of the video too.

I have always been open and honest with my audience and I will continue to do so for as long as I shall live. I basically have talked about all the parts of my life from childhood to my piece of kaka "love" life, so you cannot accuse me of misleading anyone with my honest and heartfelt blogs.

Last year I clearly made way too many poor judgement decisions that led me to nothing but despair and regret. I allowed people to take full advantage of me and that is one thing no-one should ever compromise. You are always deserving of self-respect and the respect from others. The concept of having to earn someone respect is just wrong, because if nobody is willing to give respect than we are just all rude people and the cycle never ends. The only thing you have to earn from people is their trust in who you are as person.

I ruined my credit score by maxing out every credit card I took out while I still had a good score. Obviously, I knew better than that, but finding myself in a state of somewhat freedom I abused it and I wanted to have fun. I made Uber and Lyft a lot more rich that's for sure. Major Lol. I purposely pawned a few things I never intended to get back so that they would give me the maximum amount of money. These actions were all impulsed by hanging out with the wrong crowd and seeking to live the "luxurious" life I never had (basically eating out and buying things I never had like a fit-bit,etc.).

I also must say my entire year wasn't completely reckless. I did enroll in school for the 4th time and completed the program from start to finish through all the mess I was going through I did it. I was involved in many volunteering events for school and Shriners Hospital for Children, so I am very grateful and happy about all those hours I spent giving of myself for a greater cause.

And yes although some people are tired of hearing me say it, but I also experienced heartbreak at the hands of RJ3 (that's his made up code name). I came to realize I have unconditional love for him and I put up with way too much of his bs and wrong treatment towards me. I can honestly say I do love him dearly but that is NOT the equivalent of being IN love with him. I also know deep deep deep down he never intentionally meant to hurt me, but it would be nice to receive a genuine apology for all of 2018 from him. I miss him everyday and no matter what I do and who I end up marrying (if I ever do) he literally took a piece of my heart for all eternity. I would say it's probably like an eighth (1/8) of my heart and the good memories will never fade in my mind.

I also worked and paid taxes for 4 months out of the year. But not because I didn't want to work before June or after October; the circumstances just presented themselves in that manner. So, I will zip it for now and give you guys a breather. I know you smiled and laughed and that was worth my time and energy into this new blog post.

Remember you are important to me and someone else even if it's just your mommy Jk Jk Jk but really don't feel useless or worthless ever, because you are not. You have purpose and your life matters in the great circle of life (yes the Lion King movie is coming out this year yeahy Lol).

Thank you for reading, now go and comment, like, or share!!!

Xoxoxooxoxoxo,

Ana :)
