February Tell All #amilikey

 Good evening,

I had a blast in February from beginning to end--- literally guys!!! It was also Black History Month and of course I took the initiative to celebrate it at work. I was able to purchase 3 nice t-shirts to share with my black colleagues, and we had a nice potluck as well. I've always felt more in common with black people because we are both minorities. Overall, I appreciate how hard they have had to work and I have never seen them as indifferent or less because of their skin color. I hope to one day be in a position to be able to really help them out and nurture their growth without suppressing them.

I was able to experience a Dolphin Tour in Clearwater Beach as well as eating real octopus for the very first time. The small small portion cost 18 dollars but it was delicious for sure. If I had realized we were right in front of the beach, I would have scheduled the tour earlier to be able to then enjoy swimming in the beach. Something ironic happened when I thought we would run out of sun screen and I bought one for 17 dollars from the tourist shop; just to carry it around because we had enough in the spray bottle I had from last time. (Not to mention the fact that Walgreens was literally just around the corner as well smh 🤦‍♀️)

On my official birthday, I ventured out to a lovely brunch at First Watch and later a late lunch at Cooperhawks restaurant. And another super funny moment happened when we realized the restaurant was adjacent to the restaurant we attended to celebrate my birthday last year at Texas de Brazil. I also realized I might have overdone it with the eating out two days in a row, because at the end of the day I was super bloated and I could barely wear my gold dress appropriately.

As usual, no one really gave me any presents except my immediate family. However, I am definitely grateful to say I've officially made it to 33 years of age and counting. I made memories that will last me a lifetime and experienced things I've been asking for forever. I hope and pray next year to be able to double the celebration with 2 fun activities and maybe even a special someone for me too!!!

I guess I haven't had much improvement when it comes to blogging in a more frequent manner, but I do hope to definitely post more blogs than last year at the very least. I also, want more than anything to make a difference by sharing my ups and downs with the audience as a way of motivation to never quit. The Lord made you for a purpose and like I always reiterate "You are not a mistake from your mom and dad from a broken condom."

Take courage and let God enter your life to make of it a master piece. Thank you for reading my humble blog and taking the time to wink wink hint hint comment, share!!!!!
