Vacay in Full #amilikey

Yo yo, what's popping? Nah, who in the shenanigans is this persona? Not me, I was just trying to be playful as always. I know I am not consistent with my blogs in terms of posting on a weekly basis or something near to it, but when I finally get to it -- it's worth the read.

After all my life, I finally had a mini vacation all to myself, because of course I am single like a lonely pringle. Nonetheless, I did enjoy myself on this adventure. I was able to book a hotel for three straight nights in Brandon Florida. While the hotel had this amazing pool with a mini water cascade and sprinkler; I also found the facility for indoor skydiving nearby.

On my first night, I was super excited and went to the pool around 6pm I believe and swam for about an hour. I needed to get some dinner so I ventured out on foot to see what stores were nearby. As I surveyed the land, I spotted a Wendy's and a gas station-- ended up getting a 4 for 5 dollar meal deal and a chocolate frosty instead of a drink, along with some water from the gas station. It took me a whole hour to and from these two spots back to the hotel. The night time was so cool and quiet as there was ironically just many car dealers surrounding the area.

Next morning, I got up early to try out the international breakfast hosted by the hotel. I totally didn't know how to use the waffle maker and the timer never started, so I kept checking to see if it was done. I took out the waffle, but honestly it could have used another 45 seconds to finish cooking. I also put too much water in the oatmeal bowl and it exploded in the microwave. On the second day, the waffle maker had the timer up and I was like oh wow that makes so much more sense. I put less water in the oatmeal bowl and it came out perfect. At home I like to eat my oatmeal like a nice creamy soup so that's why I had initially added so much water to it.

My indoor skydiving experience wasn't as fun as I had expected it to be. I never felt like I was falling and it was mainly just painful trying to maintain my arms and legs balanced. The instructor gave me the weird treatment at times and once I was able to straighten myself out I was going higher than I was suppose to go. Riding a roller coaster is much more thrilling and exciting than this indoor skydiving experience for sure. I probably should of just gone to Dave Busters and spent the 115.00 dollars instead on games and prices, but I wanted to try something new and adventurous so I went for it. The high fly was the only thing that was some what enjoyable for like 2 seconds as you came down.

While I was at the indoor skydiving place, there was a married couple celebrating their 13th anniversary and I had to do my flying session with them so I felt like the awkward 3rd wheel. I know it's not there fault because they just came in and paid upon arrival while I had already booked before so yeah (and eventually I was going to have to do my session with someone anyways). I also paid separately for 3 professional photos and one video to remember it.

After the disappointing event, as I walked back I spotted a Chinese take out place, so I ordered me a house special fried rice with 2 shrimp rolls. I headed to the hotel and had my meal to then prep for another lovely evening time in the pool, unfortunately, that evening it started raining heavily and they closed the pool early so I barely got like 30 minutes in the water. I was very bumped out about that, but I was like oh well. Throughout my stay at the hotel I kept playing adjust the temperature with those portable A/C units they have because it was either too cold or too hot.

Finally, on my third day at the hotel I walked to the big Goodwill thrift store that was also about a 30 minute walk away from me. I found some nice items and only spent about 20 bucks for over ten items. Right afterwards I dropped off all my goodies back in the room and headed to the mall to get a manicure and pedicure. I couldn't resist so I also went shopping at JCPenney and Bath&Body Works. Eventually headed to the food court for some Chipotle and Charley's Subs. When I got back to the hotel I ate my food and again prepped to dip into the pool. The third time around was the charm like they say and I was able to enjoy the pool for about 2 hours. I was even fortunate enough to get the pool alone enough to record a little video of myself in the pool (you know for memory sake). Major Lol. Later that night around like 1ish I woke up with sore shoulders from all that swimming & I was like wow what did I do wrong smh. So yeah I guess somehow I over did it or didn't stretch after swimming so much Idk honestly.

On my last morning, I was too tired to get the international breakfast so I stayed in bed and later prepped for my final video. I also make videos on YouTube if you are ever interested in viewing me too. I was making use of the good lighting and nice background to capture the experience in full (but also to get my money's worth). I left before the 11:00AM checkout time because I had already done everything I needed to do so it was just dumb staying there just to watch TV until eleven.

Overall, it was one of the most fun experiences I've had as a single person. And No I didn't invite anyone over into my room for any reason, because I know that's what some would assume I did. I learned that bringing water and more frozen food as an alternative would have saved me money and time. Perhaps adding one more night just to enjoy it even a little bit more without any rush. Also, really searching the events to ensure I would enjoy the activity before booking ahead of time.

As always thank you for reading my humble blog of less than 3 readers and remember God loves you and has something beautiful for your life!!!!
